Does the image lose quality?
No. PNG uses lossless DEFLATE compression, so the file reproduces the canvas pixel for pixel. Choose a bigger font size if you need a larger image; upscaling afterwards would soften the edges.
What resolution is the PNG?
The canvas is sized to fit your text at the font size you set, so resolution scales with font size. For a sharper logo, raise the font size rather than zooming the saved file.
