Mirror Text Generator

Flip text horizontally into mirror-image Unicode look-alikes.

What is a mirror text generator?

Mirror text swaps each character for a horizontally flipped Unicode look-alike, then reverses the sequence, so the whole line reads as if held up to a mirror: “bath” turns into “ʜƚɒd”. Because the output is ordinary Unicode rather than an image, it pastes into bios, comments and chat apps. A handful of characters lack a flipped twin and stay as they are.

How to use the Mirror Text

  1. 1 Type the words you want reflected.
  2. 2 Letters swap to their mirrored Unicode twins.
  3. 3 The character order flips so the line scans right to left.
  4. 4 Paste the reflection anywhere Unicode text is accepted.

What you can use it for

  • Creating eye-catching mirrored usernames.
  • Designing reflected text for graphics or art.
  • Adding a flipped effect to social posts.
  • Making fun, hard-to-read messages.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same as writing backwards?
Not quite. Backwards text only reorders normal letters; mirror text also substitutes flipped glyphs, so a “b” genuinely looks like a “d” and the line resembles a true reflection.
Why do a few characters look unchanged?
Unicode has no flipped counterpart for every symbol. Characters without a convincing twin pass through as-is, which rarely spoils the overall effect.
Will it display correctly on every platform?
The output is standard Unicode, so most modern apps show it fine, but exact shapes depend on each platform’s fonts. Test in the target app before committing to a username.
