Frequently asked questions
Is this the same as writing backwards?
Not quite. Backwards text only reorders normal letters; mirror text also substitutes flipped glyphs, so a “b” genuinely looks like a “d” and the line resembles a true reflection.

Unicode has no flipped counterpart for every symbol. Characters without a convincing twin pass through as-is, which rarely spoils the overall effect.
